In 2011, "KitzAlpBike", a mountain biking festival, will be held for the 16th time. The mountains surrounding Kitzbühel are host to numerous races and competitions. As usual, the main event will be the KitzAlpBike marathon on Sunday. That weekend, Kitzbühel is expecting more than 1,000 mountain bikers.

It is no surprise that Kitzbühel is also the starting point of the Tyrol Bike Trail. Its over 1,000 kilometres make the Tyrol Bike Trail the longest interconnected mountain biking loop trail in the Alps. By way of 32 stages, cyclists can discover the province of Tyrol and see the most beautiful places in this area.

Our "KitzAlpBike cycling map" is the booklet that all mountain bikers and cycling tour enthusiasts should have. The map is available at all Kitzbühel Tourismus offices.
