Night Skiing at Gaisberg
The Kitzbühel Ski Area is also open for night skiing on Thursdays and Fridays. The famous Gaisberg slope near Kirchberg is groomed again for the evening and is equipped with floodlights; the starry sky a lovely backdrop. This is a very special adventure.A state-of-the-art floodlight system illuminates every corner of the slopes, thus allowing for unlimited skiing on the entire mountain late into the night. The brightly illuminated ski runs light the way to the romantic mountain huts at Gaisberg, where tasty meals and drinks are served in a comfortable atmosphere.
Ski lift operation hours are every Thursday and Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The floodlights are in operation until 11:00 p.m.
Fitness Studios
Sculpt your body and recharge your batteries at one of Kitzbühel’s many fitness studios. Choose from a wide range of fitness facilities, including weight training, cardio fitness or special training programmes such as back exercises, aerobics or power plate. Moonlight ski mountaineering tours are a very special way to discover the picturesque natural landscapes of Kitzbühel's mountains. Alpine experience and knowledge of alpine hazards are a must. Moonlight Winter & Snowshoe Hiking
Walking or hiking through the enchanting winter wonderland is a priceless winter experience, especially during a full moon or – even more romantic – by torchlight. Discover Kitzbühel and its surrounding villages from a unique angle while venturing down well-maintained winter walking paths leading past snow-covered fields and hills. Classic style cross-country skiers and skaters of all levels and professionals congregate here to improve their skills and training techniques. Professional cross-country skiers, such as brothers David Kreiner and Benjamin Kreiner train on the Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith Sports Track, which is also available at night. The track is brightly illuminated by floodlights from dusk until approximately 11:00 p.m. Top-notch snowmaking devices ensure optimal snow level at all times. The use of the cross-country skiing track is free.The two cross-country skiing tracks can be accessed right next to the Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith Golf Club. The 1.4 km loop is suitable for beginners and slightly advanced cross-country enthusiasts, while the challenging 4.2 km sports track is a demanding training slope with varied terrain ideal for more advanced skiers. The renowned Kitzbühel Ski Club (K.S.C.) and Kitzbühel Tourismus are responsible for the grooming and the snow-making devices on this track.
Plenty of parking is available right next to the Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith Golf Club.
