tobogganing in Kitzbühel
The area around Kitzbühel, Reith, Aurach and Jochberg offers numerous toboggan runs. After a more or less exhausting ascent on foot or via ski lift, you should not miss out on a stopover in one of the quaint mountain huts before you race down to the valley!

At the Gaisberg mountain you can enjoy sledding pleasures by day and night – great fun and action guaranteed! Join a wonderful tobogganing night from Tuesday to Saturday between 6.30 pm and 9.30 pm. Ready, steady, go!

A quite different alternative is the "Zipflbob". Entertaining races are organized throughout the winter months. Among the season's highlights for both locals and guests rank the yearly held Zipflbob World Championships.

Our recommendation

The Kelchalm natural toboggan run makes a wonderful walking destination. The historic house was built as a lodge for the copper miners in 1832. The lovely trail to Kelchalm leads past the ruins. The entire hike takes approximately one hour or a bit more. Sample a great variety of local delights served at the quaint mountain huts.
