Gourmet Restaurants

Kitzbuehel, the fashionable sports city at the foot of the Hahnenkamm is a gourmet’s paradise. Lovers of fine food can choose from the many restaurants and bars in the most variant throughout Tyrol.

Nowhere else in Tyrol can you commute between so many "Award winning" restaurants in such a small space and try the daily recommendations of expert chefs. Kitzbuehel has cooks such as Ernst Köstenbaumer (1 cap), Stefan Hofer (2 caps), and Lois Stern (1 cap) next door to each other, so to speak. Around the center of Kitzbühel is Thomas Dreher (2 caps), Bobby Bräuer (3 caps) and Jürgen Netwich (1 cap) three more excellent addresses within easy reach.

2010: Gault Millau gave the 5-star Hotel Tennerhof the title of "Best Service in Austria." The Tennerhof poses as the main figurehead of Kitzbuehel and through it’s hospitality has earnt the appraisel as one “of the finest restaurants in Tyrol," in the Gault Millau Guide 2009/ 2010: We are delighted that we are in the 2009 edition of the Gault Millau, the prestigious guide for gourmets in German-speaking countries and have been awarded 3 honours.

In September 2011 Bobby Bräuer was by Gault Millau named "Chef of the Year 2012" in Austria.
