Oltimer Fire Engine Meeting
May 24, 2013 :: The Kitzbuehel Oldtimer Fire Engine Club-TLFA4000 group was founded in 2002 to preserve the old Fire Fighting methods for posterity. The key factor was the withdrawal of Austria's first fire engine with day-glow paint.
They are now in possession of 8 vehicles, 4 coaches, 2 hose carts and various small items which have been added to the club property. They meet regular with likeminded comrades of the Stammtisch (a reserved table) and look after the maintenance of the fleet. Every 2-years at Whitsun the great fire-Vintage Car Rally will be held in Kitzbuehel.
Up to 120 old-timer fire engines with more than 400 active participants from 5 countries, meet in Kitzbühel. Here's a look back at the 6th International Fire-Vintage Car Rally in Kitzbuehel, of 24 May to 26 May 2013.
