Just so you can get the big picture: if you get into a Hahnenkamm gondola after the starting shot, you’ll still have time to drink a cup of coffee at Sonnenrast before the winners cross the finish line.

The fastest bikers take barely 36 minutes to cycle up the 900 metres that separate the town centre from the summit on a select unpaved road with gradients of up to 16%. It’s a challenge that attracts hundreds of top bikers and hobby cyclists year after year.
