High mountain reservoir Kaprun
A trip to the Kaprun-mountain reservoirs is a fascinating journey into the mountains. The fresh air, the green of the meadows, the turquoise waters of the reservoirs and the glaciers of the Hohe Tauern mountains will leave a vivid impression on your mind.
The drive to the Kaprun-Hochgebirgsstausee (Dam) and the drive up to the Alpine reservoirs starts at the Kesselfall Alpenhaus in Kaprun Valley. Modern buses take you through a natural stone tunnel and then on a road Lined with Lärch to the Lärchwand lift.
