3 sections to the summit of the Hohe Salve - 1200 metres difference in altitude in 30 minutes! From the summit (1829m) you overlook Austria's highest mountains! The view is one of the most beautiful in the Alps and really impressive with a 360° panoramic view. Hikers can follow beautiful and well-marked Panorama paths up the mountain and explore the world of the Wilder Kaiser Brixen Valley with it’s many snug and children friendly cabins, where a good hearty meals is waiting.

The name "Salve" probably comes from the Latin "Hail" and you receive a really friendly welcome with wonderful views at the summit in all directions. At the top there is also the Salvenkirchlein ( small church) that goes back in history to the year 1589. The visit of the highest pilgrimage church in Austria can be combined with a wonderful hike.
