Along a 4-km path on a Section Warnsdorf / Krimml river are built numerous viewing platforms so that visitors can view the Krimml Waterfalls. They were built close to the falls, in a secure area, to have a better view of the falls. The climb up to the Supreme Achen station takes an hour, to the Middle station about 30 minutes and the lowest of waterfall can be reached in 10 minutes.
At the bottom of the waterfall section is an information centre and a layout with numerous charts. The Krimml Waterfall is 380 m high, fifth highest in the world and the largest in Europe. The first stage of the top station has a total drop of 140 m. There is a short flat portion called the "Schönangerl", from there the water crashes down to the Middle Achenfall, 100 m high, level. The third stage of the Lower Achenfall is more than 140 meters high.
