The Mountain Lift Museum
The Hahnenkammbahn Lift Station celebrated it’s 100th year of skiing in Kitzbuehel in 1993 arranged an exhibition from the Bergbahn AG.
Now we have a museum that shows the Alpine region in another light. At the lift station at 1.700 metres above sea-level, with wonderful views over the region, you can see the development of skiing and the equipment that was used in the past.
The exhibition gives a chronological history of the ski sport and what the first pioneers used.
