In the Streif Attack, numerous sports stars and amateur golfers pit their wits, in Summer, against the legendary Streif in an attempt to win. The best golf week of the year with more than 500 participants at the Golf Festival in Kitzbühel. The eleventh edition of this spectacle will be from 23 June - 30 June 2013. Probably the most popular golf week in the Alps is arguably the Kitzbühel Golf Festival. The mix of ambitious golfers and a social "get together" in a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. It attracts each year, more than 500 international golfers to the sports town of Kitzbühel.

"Plunge", the absolute highlight is the spectacular Streif Attack.Downhill Olympic Champions Fritz Strobl und Leonhard Stock, Hahnenkamm winner from 2008 Marco Büchel, legendary skier Hias Leitner und „Rote Teufel“ Skischule-Chef Rudi Sailer s together with a large number of golfing guests armed with a driver, iron and wedge make their way down to the valley.

Besides the Streif tournament, the Hotel Organizations of Kitzbühel:- Kitzbühel Grand SPA Resort, A-Rosa Grand Tirolia, Sporthotel Reisch Hotel Cordial Reith, Royal Spa Kitzbühel Golf-Hotel Rasmushof under the umbrella of the ninth Kitzbühel Golf Festival arrange golf tournaments over 36 kilometers of fairways on four of the most beautiful courses in the Alps: In Eichenheim, GC Kitzbühel Schwarzsee, GC Kitzbühel Kaps and GLC Rasmushof. Golf Gourmet promises, as every year, the gourmet tournament in GLC Rasmushof where the participants can not just play a round of fun-nine golf but can also enjoy a Tyrolean specialties menu. Early rises can play the arranged 9 holes in Stableford format and then have enough time to prepare themselves with wellness and relaxation in the partner hotels for the next tournament.
