Did you know that in Kitzbühel...?

365 days Kitzbühel

There is so much to learn about the town and its inhabitants. For some time now, the Kitzbühel Tourism team has been working on the question "Did you know that...". We have collected some interesting questions from the large pool and also provided the appropriate answers. Of course, every now and then with a smile on our faces.

Yes, once a year at the Streif Attack as part of the Golf Festival. Exactly 12 holes from the start house at the Hahnenkamm to the finish slope to the Rasmushof are to be mastered. Our tip: mountain boots and a supply of several golf balls are an advantage.

Yes, bees have been living in the garden at the Kempinski Hotel Das Tirol since spring 2018. Much to the delight of hotel guests, as honey is served at the breakfast buffet.

Yes, the inventor Ian Fleming lived with us in Kitzbühel in the 1920s to learn German. He even called it his "wild years". Sounds exciting, read more right here.
