Kitz Art, Kitzbühel

The art gallery in Kitzbühel has been run by the "Art and Culture Association Kitz Art Innovation" since 2003 and has since developed into an important hub for contemporary art in Tyrol. With the presentation of established and up-and-coming artists, it has been possible to establish a lively platform for regional and international artists in recent years. The gallery is in the center of Kitzbühel in the best business location. Due to its shop window character, the art space can be viewed from the outside at any time. The gallery is available to the association's artists as a showroom, which is presented on a monthly basis. In a permanent exhibition, the Kitzbühel artist Rudolph Pigneter shows pictures from his series "Typical Tyrol". From a differentiated point of view, he creates classic pictures away from the usual tourist perspectives. His depictions of landscapes reflect his very personal handwriting and are unmistakable in their formal language.
