The variety of possibilities for culinary delights in the Kitzbühel region is also the basis for the 2021 KITZ Culinary Festival. The focus of the participating KITZ culinary partners is on regional produce with stories that can be told and experienced at the same time.

The grassy mountains in the area cater for every possible culinary wish. High in the mountains, the sun terraces of the more than 60 mountain huts offer a special place for enjoyment. Not only is the Kitzbühel region surrounded by an impressive mountain panorama, it also creates a very special ambience with its countless options for a bite to eat.
The KITZ Kulinarik FESTIVAL combines traditional dishes and innovative interpretations. The local culinary virtuosos celebrate their craft in the historic city centre of Kitzbühel.
The emphasis on regionalism stands out in particular, not only with the hosts, but also with the dishes and the ingredients used. Sustainability principles are also a major focus of Kitzbühel Tourism, and the event will be organised according to the 3 R principles - reduce | reuse | recycle. With short transport routes for the ingredients made locally, combined with compostable or reusable crockery, no single-use bottles and an avoidance of plastic composite material.
