Whether you are a pleasure skier or a fan of action, there with the family or a freerider - everyone gets their money's worth in Kitzbühel, the most legendary sports town in the Alps. With perfectly maintained pistes, a state-of-the-art lift system and 233 kilometres of slopes, it is the stuff every skier’s dreams are made of. Not only do the 57 lifts offer fun on the pistes for beginners and professionals, the world-famous Hahnenkamm slope, the Streif, guarantees unforgettable winter experiences. At the same time, 60 huts and mountain restaurants await, each one unique, with culinary delights to offer in front of a very special mountain panorama. Amid the beautiful alpine winter landscape of the Tyrolean mountains, skiing in Kitzbühel is a (winter) dream come true.
Beginner or professional, on one board or on two boards - a total of 57 gondolas and lifts as well as 233 kilometers of downhill slopes offer the ideal conditions for every snow sports enthusiast. In the KitzSki Family Park even the youngest can prove their skills off the slopes. KitzSki has already been named the best ski resort in the world nine times and is internationally renowned for skiing pleasure at its best. For those who want to develop their skills or are on the slopes for the first time, the qualified guides of the Kitzbühel ski schools are there to help with professional expertise and living ski tradition. With the world-famous Hahnenkamm downhill run Streif, the Kitzbühel ski area is also home to one of the most difficult ski race courses in alpine skiing.
Kitzbühel's winter paradise not only makes athletes' hearts beat faster, but also convinces gourmets with an unmistakable combination of pleasure, nature, tradition and well-being. After all, culinary delights belong to Kitzbühel like the Streif belongs to the Hahnenkamm. Culinary delights, traditional delicacies and upscale cuisine are inextricably linked to the Gamsstadt. If you need a break on the slopes, down-to-earth, regional fare and a fabulous view of the Tyrolean Alpine panorama await you at the 60 alpine huts and mountain restaurants. Meanwhile, in the gourmet restaurants in the valley, the culinary elite conjures up exquisite delicacies for hungry snow sports enthusiasts.
Kitzbühel promises skiing fun for the whole family. Because when the landscape is covered in a thick blanket of snow and the flakes slowly fall from the sky, the snow crystals sparkle with the children's eyes. And with 181 kilometers of groomed slopes, every member of the family is guaranteed to find their favorite trail. Speeding through the bear country on skis is a special experience for our little guests. And we would like to recommend the Funpark at the Kitzbüheler Horn to all the brave ones. Those who still need some practice are in good hands in our children's ski courses. Here the focus is on one thing above all: fun on two slats. The Pass Thurn, Hausleiten (Jochberg), Mocking, Rasmusleiten and Reith practice lifts are available to young and old free of charge. After all, practice makes perfect.
