Come and discover the snow-covered meadows and fields both in the valley and up in the Tyrolean mountains on over 70 kilometres of perfectly prepared trails. Regardless of whether you’re a beginner, leisurely cross-country skier or professional, and whether you prefer the classic or skating style, cross-country skiing in Kitzbühel offers ideal conditions and facilities for people of all ability levels. Culinary highlights also play an important role in a perfect day of cross-country skiing, which is why all of the routes feature an impressive selection of mountain huts and restaurants. As you can tell, cross-country skiing in Kitzbühel is a wonderful experience close to nature for all kinds of connoisseurs! Use of the cross-country ski trails is free of charge for all Kitzbühel guests.

With the announcement of the state of Tirol on March 12, 2020, additional precautionary measures to curb and combat the spread of the corona virus have been implemented for all of Tirol.

All cable cars throughout the country will have their last day of operation on Sunday March 15, 2020.

Accommodations (hotels, apartments, private rooms etc.) will be closed on Monday, March 16, 2020.

Not affected: grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, animal feed, drugstores, post offices and other areas that are needed for supply.

 

This measures will be upheld until 13 April.

 

These comprehensive measures are carried out in close coordination between the authorities and Tirolean tourism. The health and safety of the Tirolean population, the employees of the country’s tourist businesses and guests from all over the world has top priority.

Classic or skating lessons for beginners: Learn to cross country ski starting with the basics, or improve your technique with one of Ski School Reith bei Kitzbühel’s cross country skiing instructors.

When learning to cross country ski it’s important to learn the correct technique right from the start, so that you can save energy and ski both comfortably and safely. Our instructors will show you the basic techniques so that you can enjoy your cross country skiing to the fullest.

You will quickly start to love cross country skiing and improve your fitness, health, and technique, all at the same time. The cross country skiing trails are directly accessible from outside Ski School Reith.
