The new Maierlbahn cable car provides access to one of the most beautiful ski runs in the Kitzbühel|Kirchberg ski area and offers outstanding levels of comfort. As the first 10-passenger monocable gondola lift in Austria, the Maierlbahn cable car sets a new milestone. 

What’s more, the cabins, which feature floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows on all four sides and are large enough to accommodate ten people comfortably, are 20 cm taller than customary 8-passenger cabins. This is particularly beneficial when people board and alight the cable car and makes the cabins feel more spacious. Lower speeds through the platform also make it easier for passengers to get on and off. The platform is easily reachable via an escalator and has an extra-long boarding area. Additional features improving passenger experience include comfortable upholstery and heated seats.
