Lebenberg Circuit

A beautiful round in the valley is the Lebensbergrunde with a detour to Bichlach and sight-run in the city center. A hilly landscape behind the Schwarzsee. Starting point is the valley station of the Hahnenkammbahn. We run from the starting point on the railway crossing in the Legend Park behind the Aquarena to the mini-roundabout and continue on the Upper Gänsbachgasse. At the church square we turn left and between the vicarage and church we walk right up to Lebenberg. Attention, after the cemetery you should turn around once, this is one of the most famous views of Kitzbühel with the churches and the southern mountains in the background. We continue on the road to the hotel Lebenberg where we turn next to the parking lot on a gravel road towards Bichlach. From here on it goes on beautiful trail and through the forest to Steuerberg and then continue to Vogelsberg pond. We continue to Gieringer Weiher and Münichau. Shortly before we turn left again and then into the forest to Schwarzsee, where we walk past on the east side and to the railway station. There it goes under the train and over the road on a small trail that leads us back towards Hahnenkammbahn. At the Pulverturmweg we turn again towards the mountain, cross the famous Ganslernhang and the destination of the Streif to then run back to the valley station. A nice round on a mixed surface.
