The Roemerweg-Run takes its name from its starting point on the Roemerweg itself. From here, you travel to the seldom used resident’s only road, keeping at all times to the foot of the Kitzbuehel Horn, heading north. After just over 1 kilometre the route becomes inaccessible to road users and travels, always with a slight gradient, through sunny terrain via tranquil country meadows, until reaching Oberndorf, where after exactly 5 kilometres there is a turning point in the Oberndorf Cable Car car park. The route then heads straight back, allowing a wonderful
10.000 metre run without any changes in direction of note. The route is also signposted from the opposite direction, with the start located in Oberndorf.
