Adventure paradise for young and old

Wildlife Park Aurach

The Wildlife Park Aurach is a particularly popular excursion destination in the Kitzbühel region. The largest wild animal enclosure in Tyrol with over 200 animals is located in the holiday village of Aurach, which is also known for its hereditary farms. Andrea Pletzer-Gasser is the 3rd generation of the family business, which was founded in 1972.

The adjacent Brandnerhofstube invites you to stop for a bite to eat. The cosy Tyrolean-style furnished inn at the entrance to the game park offers you relaxing hours on the sun terrace with panoramic view.

The Game Park Aurach inspires by its unique location and of course by its animal inhabitants: see red deer, fallow deer, mouflon in Tyrol’s largest open-air enclosure as well as stone deer, lynxes, yaks and many other animals.

The soul of our company are the people who give their best every day and put their heart and soul into their work.

Since 2020 other animal species have found their home in the game park. So now also

.Wild cats

.snow owls and barn owls

.little owl and falcons

can be marvelled at.

In autumn 2019 alpacas and Alpine stone sheeps have moved in.

Petting barn

In the petting barn you can be very close to your favourite animals and pet alpacas, llamas, ponies, sheep, rabbits, donkeys, goats and guinea pigs.

Feeding of game

DAILY:

A special experience for all visitors is the daily game feeding at 14.30. Here you can observe the different inhabitants of the Wildpark Aurach animals at close range such as red deer & fallow deer.

WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS:

At 13.30 there is a supervised feeding for children.

Game-Playground Aurach

Together with the mascot “Willi the wild boar”, the 11 stations of the dexterity course are covered.

The various play and skill stations are connected to a species of animal from the Aurach Game Park. Around the mascot “Willi, the wild boar” children can test their skills and try out playful characteristics or behaviour of the animals themselves.

On display boards they can also learn interesting facts about the inhabitants of the Wildpark: free from giddiness like an ibex, strong like a yak, sublime like a stag, jumping like a kangaroo or clever like the peacock.
