This programme is suitable for adults and teenagers aged 14 and over. We kindly ask groups to register in advance at the service centre, either in person or via the Experience Shop. If you have any health concerns, it’s best to discuss these with our hiking guides before the tour begins.
KitzMountain Guiding
With a valid lift ticket or KitzCard, you can take part in guided hikes free of charge. You’ll experience some of the region’s finest mountain trails, panoramic viewpoints, and mountain gastronomy.*
The summer lifts operated by KitzSki (Bergbahn AG Kitzbühel) make it easy to access the hiking areas, taking you comfortably to some of the most spectacular trails and mountain routes—and include transport with the famous Hahnenkamm and Horn gondolas.
*The KitzCard is the guest card you receive with an overnight stay in Kitzbühel. It is valid from May to June and from September to October.

The Kitzbühel Mountain Guides combine deep local knowledge with a genuine passion for the mountains. All guides are state-certified and internationally accredited by IVBV, UIAGM and IFMGA.
As an association of independent local guides, they represent a strong, unified brand—standing for quality, safety and a close connection to the mountains of Kitzbühel. With years of experience, they lead tours that bring together nature, knowledge and alpine expertise.

Kitzbühel offers a wide variety of hiking options—from themed trails and scenic routes to hut-to-hut hikes and summit tours of varying difficulty levels. The guided tours organized by Kitzbühel Tourism, as well as those offered by KitzMountain Guiding, are led by experienced mountain guides.

No registration is required for individuals participating in the guided hikes organized by Kitzbühel Tourism. You can simply come to the meeting point at Legends Park. We ask groups to contact the tourist office directly in advance so that we can coordinate everything with our guides.
For the KitzMountain Guiding “Horn Summit Breakfast” tour, registration is required by 5:00 PM the day before at the latest.

With the KitzCard, guided hikes organized by Kitzbühel Tourism are free of charge. For KitzMountain Guiding, however, a valid lift ticket is required.
Please note: For some of the guided hikes, transportation to the starting point is by taxi. In this case, the taxi fare will be split fairly among the group.
The meeting point for guided hikes organized by Kitzbühel Tourism is the hiking information center in Legends Park, right next to the Aquarena in the center of Kitzbühel. You
can find the starting points for KitzMountain Guiding on the KitzSki website. These tours usually start at the base station of the Hahnenkammbahn or the Hornbahn.
