Status of compliance with the requirements

Due to the incompatibilities listed below, this website is partially compliant with the ‘Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1’ at Conformity Level AA (Standard EN 301 549).

Non-accessible content

The following issues were identified during a simplified audit carried out by the Ombudsman’s Office for Web Accessibility of the Province of Tyrol (report dated 15 July 2026) as well as in our own tests. Technical rectification has been commissioned and is being carried out in stages; this statement is updated on an ongoing basis.

• Some icons lack descriptive text. This constitutes a breach of Success Criterion 1.1.1 (Non-text content).
• Some videos still require an alternative description. This breaches Success Criterion 1.2.3 (Audio description or media alternative).
• In some cases, images are described unnecessarily in addition to the link text; in some cases, links consisting solely of an image are not labelled with the destination page. This breaches Success Criteria 1.1.1 (Non-textual Content) and 2.4.4 (Link Purpose in Context).
• Some foreign-language sections still need to be translated or have not been technically marked with the required language tag. This breaches Success Criterion 3.1.2 (Language of Parts).
• The link label is sometimes repeated in the title attribute. This impairs success criterion 3.3.2 (Labels or Instructions).
• Some control elements are implemented as links, even though they do not lead to another page; some buttons are displayed with an incorrect role; the description of states is sometimes ambiguous for screen readers; and in some cases, it is not clear which selection has just been made. This breaches Success Criteria 1.3.1 (Information and Relationships), 3.3.2 (Labels or Instructions) and 4.1.2 (Name, Role, Value).
• The form for searching for and booking accommodation has limitations regarding keyboard navigation, focus management following a selection, and status messages for screen readers.
• Alternative text for images has not yet been provided in some places.
• The embedded iFrames used to display the webcams are currently not fully accessible via the keyboard.

Embedded booking and information system (feratel)

The modules integrated into our website for searching for and booking accommodation and experiences (feratel Deskline/TOSC5 by feratel media technologies AG) are not currently fully accessible. Restrictions may apply when using the keyboard or a screen reader (e.g. when controlling focus in filter and calendar functions). Furthermore, the images uploaded by the respective service providers/accommodation providers themselves do not usually have appropriate alternative text. We have only limited influence over the content of this third-party application; however, we are in regular contact with the provider regarding this matter and are continuously improving the parts that fall within our sphere of influence.
