With the WTA Tour 125, international women’s tennis is returning to Kitzbühel after more than three decades. From 12 to 19 July 2026, the Kitzbühel Tennis Club’s grounds will serve as the venue for top-class sport and memorable tennis moments in Kitzbühel.

International tennis history meets the Alpine way of life
The WTA Tour 125 brings top-class international tennis back to Kitzbühel, re-establishing the town as a venue for high-calibre women’s tennis in the Alps.
Between 1945 and 1993, women’s competitions were a regular feature of the Kitzbühel tennis tournament. Great figures such as Billie Jean King, who won in Kitzbühel in 1971, left a lasting mark on this era. Today, the new WTA 125 tournament deliberately builds on this tradition, combining sporting excellence with the special atmosphere of Kitzbühel.
The women’s finals will take place alongside the men’s qualifying rounds of the Generali Open Kitzbühel. This means you can enjoy top-class tennis over two consecutive tournament weeks in Kitzbühel. For you, this translates to an electric tennis atmosphere, international players and thrilling matches at the Kitzbühel Tennis Club.

A WTA 125 tournament is part of the Women's Tennis Association's official tournament series. These events offer female tennis players outside the top 100 in the world rankings the opportunity to earn valuable ranking points and qualify for higher-prize-money WTA tournaments.
The WTA 125 tournament in Kitzbühel will take place from 13 to 19 July 2026 at the Kitzbühel Tennis Club.
For a relaxed journey, we recommend travelling by train. International express trains stop at Kitzbühel station, and selected trains also stop at Kitzbühel Hahnenkamm station. From Kitzbühel Hahnenkamm station, it is about a 15-minute walk to the competition venue.
