Kitzbühel Tourism is proud to present the Sound | Escape - Boutique Festival for the second time, in collaboration with its mountain and valley establishments – and with free admission.

The event kicks off on Friday, 28 March 2025, on the mountain, before the Kitzbühel Mainstage in the town center opens later in the afternoon. Following this, bars and clubs will delight visitors with a top-tier lineup. The festivities continue on Saturday, 29 March 2025, and Sunday, 30 March2025, following the same rhythm: from the mountain to the valley, to the Kitzbühel Mainstage, and on to various venues.

Soak up the sun and enjoy the mountain views with friends, then crank up the volume during the evening in Kitzbühel. With different locations, all you need to bring are the good vibes!

Sven Väth

As a special highlight, the internationally renowned legend Sven Väth will be performing at Sound | Escape in Kitzbühel. With his dedication and passion, Sven Väth—still commanding the decks with vinyl after four decades—has shaped the progress and evolution of electronic music, founding clubs, record labels, and launching countless careers.

Recognized as one of the most successful German DJs, Sven Väth is one of the genre's most iconic figures, playing a pivotal role in elevating techno to cult status. Four decades after sparking a cultural movement with his artistry, Sven Väth was honored with the BAMBI Award 2024 in the "Culture" category, with a laudatory speech delivered by world-renowned pianist Lang Lang.

Our mountain venues can easily be reached by foot. All you need is a ticket for the gondola ride up the mountain—aside from that, admission to every venue is completely free. As for our valley locations, you'll find them conveniently situated in the town centre

Our venues accept cash and card payments. However, due to unpredictable Wi-Fi in the mountains, we advise bringing enough cash to avoid any payment issues.

Lift Ticket Info

The easiest way to reach our mountain venues is by lift. For convenience, we recommend purchasing your ticket online with KitzSki. Alternatively, you may opt to remain in the town centre and join the party later.

Arrival

You can choose to arrive by train or by car.

If you opt for the train, exit at the Hahnenkamm Station. You'll find yourself directly at the gondola, and only 5 mins from the town centre.

Alternatively, if you're driving, we suggest parking at either the Hahnenkamm car park (charges apply) or the Pfarrau car park (free of charge).
