“Dumplings, gnocchi, noodles, polenta, these are the four Tyrolean elements,” reads the lovingly designed menu of the “Bärnbichl-Stuben” in Jochberg near Kitzbühel. In this family-run business, considered an “insider tip” for gourmets, Tyrolean specialties are served at an award-winning level.
The rustic rooms with a tiled stove and a traditional crucifix corner offer space for “only” sixty people, which is why a reservation is highly recommended. In the rustic atmosphere of the mountain-top restaurant, you can enjoy a “feins Sippei” (fine little soup), as the farmhouse soup is advertised,
as well as the much-praised raspberry and blueberry fritters of the “Bärnbichl-Stuben” and other delicacies.
