The impressive backdrop of the Kaiser Mountain Range forms the foundation for the hiking area on the high plateau from Brentenjoch to the Steinbergalms. Here begins a habitat that has been registered as a nature reserve for over 60 years. Here, nature, plant life, animals, and alpine farming have formed a symbiosis for centuries. It is an ideal starting point for tours into the Kaiser Mountains, the Kaisertal, and around the Wilder Kaiser. The Kaiserlift provides a means of ascent that allows even those who are less athletic to enjoy unforgettable experiences and views in the mountains. The Kufstein Kaiserlift takes all nature lovers to the high plateau of the Steinbergalms. The new single chairlift is not only the first step to reach the mountain effortlessly, but also a "transport of enjoyment" on the path to deceleration. Upon reaching 1200 m above sea level, visitors are greeted by intact nature, splendid hiking trails, scenic summits, and a traditional alpine hut culture. Consciousness spots bring the value of nature and wildlife closer to visitors under the majestic backdrop of the Kaiser Mountain Range within the nature reserve.
Exploring the nature reserve with experts is possible from May to October with special themed tours. Information about the program and dates can be found at https://www.naturerlebnis-kaisergebirge.at/de/naturerlebnis-kaisergebirge.html
Kaiserlift open from early May to around the end of October.
