Road Bikers

For road bikers, we have the final stage of the Tour of Austria: the ascent to the Kitzbüheler Horn – the steepest road climb in the country. Once a year, the pros sprint up the road to the Alpenhaus at a maximum slope of 22.3 percent. The rest of the summer, the road is open to all race biking enthusiasts.

Those who prefer it less steep but just as exciting can choose from a total of 14 racing bike tours totalling 750 miles and more than 5,900 feet of elevation. The selected routes take in the most beautiful roads of the Tyrolean lowlands, the neighboring Salzburg Pinzgau region and even Austria's highest mountain the Grossglockner.

Mountain Bikers

The beauty of nature is best explored on a mountain bike – ride along our 500 miles of Kitzbühel MTB trails and routes. The region's mountain landscape is ideal for both short and long bike tours, across alpine pastures and stunning mountains. If you want something a little more challenging, we have routes such as the Saukasergraben to the Pengelstein which will get the lungs and legs burning!

For those seeking a more leisurely pace, our trails offer serene alternatives without the uphill battles. Complementing the challenging tours to majestic peaks, Kitzbühel's landscape also embraces relaxing valley trails and easy cycling routes. With over 80 excursions available for e-bike enthusiasts, our region stands as part of the world's largest e-biking network. And if your battery runs low, our extensive charging network ensures you can keep exploring without interruption.
