From international sporting events such as the Austrian Alpine Open, held in Kitzbühel for the first time in May as part of the DP World Tour, and the return of women's tennis, to new leisure activities and cultural highlights – Kitzbühel is synonymous with quality, diversity and living tradition. During the summer season, locals and guests alike can look forward to numerous new attractions and special highlights in the Gamsstadt. High-profile events, new bike infrastructure and a varied entertainment programme underline the region's commitment to making sporting excellence and the Alpine way of life an experience throughout the summer as well.

Concerts, Cabaret & More
In addition to top-class tennis, the Kitzbühel Tennis Stadium also offers an attractive programme beyond the court during the summer months. Selected events and concerts transform the stadium into a unique venue, complementing the sporting experience with cultural highlights in a special atmosphere.
Monika Gruber
With “Es huift ja nix”, Monika Gruber celebrates her stage comeback in 2026. On two consecutive days – Friday, 14 August, and Saturday, 15 August 2026 – she takes aim at the absurdities of everyday life with her trademark sharp wit in her new programme, advocating greater joie de vivre and hedonistic recklessness.
Andrea Berg
On Saturday, 29 August 2026, Andrea Berg brings her Summer Open Air concert to the Kitzbühel Tennis Stadium. Featuring her greatest hits and a captivating stage show, she promises an emotional concert evening under the open sky.
Pizzera & Jaus
Pizzera & Jaus will also bring their 2026 tour, Jetz' kummst ma auf de Tour, to Kitzbühel. Austria's smallest band will stop in the Gamsstadt on Saturday, 5 September 2026, guaranteeing a special concert evening at the Kitzbühel Tennis Stadium with their unmistakable mix of humour, music and energy.

Museum Kitzbühel

Kunstbühel+
With "Das Damische Aderl", Kunstbühel+, alongside additional events in the former squash hall in Kitzbühel, presents an exhibition project at the intersection of visual art, performance and social space. At the heart of the exhibition is a multi-layered dialogue between works by Gunter Damisch and pieces by former students from his class at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. The unique spatial setting of the Maurachhof forms the basis for an exhibition trail spanning several levels, creating differentiated perceptual experiences through changing concentrations and focal points.

Anniversaries
This year, the Gamsstadt celebrates numerous anniversaries – both of long-standing events and traditional businesses.
100th Kitzbühel Fair
Over the years, the Kitzbühel Fair – organised by the Kitzbühel Town Band – has become a firm fixture of the summer season. A special highlight of the 2026 anniversary fair: for the first time, a dedicated children's area featuring a bouncy castle and a play street will be created in Kitzbühel Town Park.
More25 – Kitzbühel Summer Theatre with Special Additions
To mark its 25th anniversary, the Kitzbühel Summer Theatre will, for the first time, be complemented by a series of additional events. Special evening and morning performances at the Concert Hall of the Kitzbühel Regional Music School will accompany this year's production of Rent a Friend, which will be staged from 30 July to 21 August 2026.

500 Years of Pension Rainhof
The cosy bed and breakfast Pension Rainhof, located just a few minutes' walk from the Stadl, celebrates its 500th anniversary this year. Originally built in 1526 as a farmhouse under the name Rainerlehen, the property was converted into a bed and breakfast in the early 1950s. Today, Rainhof is already managed by the third generation of the family. Its traditional Tyrolean charm offers guests a welcoming home away from home during their stay.
50 Years of The Londoner
Since 1976, The Londoner has been a fixture of Kitzbühel's nightlife. Founder Rik Gunnell brought a piece of British pub culture from London to Tyrol, creating a meeting place for locals and guests alike. Since March 2020, David Jamieson has continued this legacy with great respect for the history of the establishment. To this day, The Londoner delights visitors with its familiar atmosphere, legendary ambience and live music by The Short and Curlies.
50 Years of the International Regular Guests Club
For 50 years, the Regular Guests Club Kitzbühel has connected visitors from all over the world with the Gamsstadt. Many of them have been returning regularly for decades – often several times a year and now together with their children and grandchildren. Guests have become friends and ambassadors of the region. Kitzbühel's tourism pioneers recognised this extraordinary bond as early as 1976 and founded the 1st International Loyal Guests Club Kitzbühel – still unique in this form today. To mark its 50th anniversary, an oversized Regular Guests Club honorary pin has also been installed in the Legends Park this year, commemorating this remarkable success story.

Hotel Aurach
Since this summer season, the family-run Hotel Aurach has once again been welcoming guests. Thanks to its ideal location, the hotel is the perfect starting point for varied hikes and bike tours in the Kitzbühel Alps. After an active day, guests can enjoy regional Tyrolean specialities before relaxing in the hotel's lovingly furnished rooms.
Pension Koller
Founded by ski pioneer Karl Koller, this charming and cosy guesthouse boasts a long-standing tradition. The historic property has recently been modernised, and its garden has also been beautifully redesigned. Thanks to its central location, just a few minutes' walk from Kitzbühel's town centre, the guesthouse is an ideal base for exploring the region. New host Christof Müllmann warmly welcomes his guests.
Where Culinary Delights Take Centre Stage
What could be better than enjoying the culinary creations of Kitzbühel's restaurants after an active day in the great outdoors?
Der Bichlhof meets The Yurt
For the first time, a handcrafted nomadic tent, which has been based in Lech during the winter months for several years, will make a summer pop-up stop in the garden of the Bichlhof throughout July and August. In cooperation with the Bichlhof and together with host Zayad, a unique venue with spectacular sunsets is being created. On Thursdays, the focus is on aperitivo, antipasti, drinks and atmospheric Italian music. On Fridays, rotating guest chefs present special culinary highlights. On Saturdays, guests can enjoy refreshing drinks and Bichlhof specialities. All events take place regardless of the weather. As capacity is limited, reservations are recommended.
Wirtshaus zum Rehkitz
Since this season, Horst Holzer and his team have been welcoming guests to the traditional inn on the Bichlalm. Housed in a more than 200-year-old farmhouse, the restaurant combines traditional cosiness with authentic Tyrolean hospitality. The menu features regional specialities and classic inn cuisine. A particular highlight is the spacious terrace with impressive views of the Hahnenkamm and the surrounding Kitzbühel mountains.
Chizzo
This summer, the Harisch Hotels team is treating guests at Chizzo to culinary delights in the restaurant and on its two terraces in the heart of Kitzbühel's town centre. At weekends, DJ sounds combined with selected drinks provide the perfect setting for a relaxed and atmospheric end to the week.
Pipino's Kitzbühel
After ten years, Pipino's is replacing its previously extensive menu with a deliberately smaller, seasonally focused selection that places quality and flavour at the forefront. The menu will be updated every two weeks and will include at least two fresh fish dishes, two fish fillet variations, as well as meat and pasta dishes. Regular pasta specials and occasional pizza days are also planned.
Das Steghaus am Schwarzsee
Since the beginning of this summer season, Stefan Monitzer and Ralf Berner have been welcoming guests to Das Steghaus. The menu combines Austrian specialities with Mediterranean-inspired dishes and modern creations. The stylish ambience is equally impressive indoors and outdoors. In particular, the spacious outdoor areas, a large sun terrace and the year-round lounge area directly by the water invite guests to relax and unwind.
Reitherwirt
Especially during the summer months, the newly built, barrier-free terrace of Restaurant Reitherwirt in Reith offers the ideal place to relax in all weather conditions, with seating for 90 guests, two shade-giving chestnut trees and a retractable awning. Reitherwirt is renowned for its regional and seasonal cuisine. Particularly popular are the game specialities from the restaurant's own hunting grounds, fresh trout from its own pond, and beef and veal from the family's own farm.
Café Schwarzsee
Since this summer, Gabi Brandner has been the new leaseholder of Café Schwarzsee, a popular meeting place for locals and visitors alike. Together with her team, she treats bathers and guests to light refreshments, homemade cakes, as well as a selection of refreshing beverages and coffee specialities. The spacious sun terrace, offering magnificent views of Schwarzsee and the Kitzbüheler Horn, invites guests to relax and linger.
Linsinger Bakery & Huber Butchery
The new Linsinger Bakery location on St. Johanner Straße offers a wide selection of sweet and savoury delicacies every day – including Sundays. Whether warm dishes from the counter, freshly prepared snack rolls with sausage, ham or cheese, or coffee and cake, there is something for every taste. The range also includes freshly baked bread and, in the self-service area, a wide selection of cured sausages, bacon, sausages, cold cuts and fresh meat from Kitzbühel's traditional Huber butchery.
The Fabulous Foodtruck
With their food truck on St. Johanner Straße, Gerti and Andi demonstrate that street food can be much more than just a quick snack. Under the motto "More than Streetfood", the menu ranges from varied lunch specials and popular classics to desserts and homemade cakes. Meals can conveniently be pre-ordered for collection or enjoyed directly on site.
Café s'Rastplatzl
During the summer months, the spacious garden of Pension Thainerhof in Reith near Kitzbühel invites guests to relax from Friday to Sunday while enjoying homemade cakes and coffee. Guests can take in magnificent views of the Wilder Kaiser, the Hahnenkamm and the Kitzbüheler Horn. The goat enclosure and rabbit garden are particularly popular with families and younger visitors.
Kaiser Snack
Under new management, Kaiser Snack, located next to the Kulturhaus in Reith near Kitzbühel, has become a popular meeting place. Weekly changing menus and a wide selection of dishes provide plenty of culinary variety. Particular emphasis is placed on regionality and quality: the meat and sausages come from a local butcher, the baked goods from a local bakery, and all sauces are homemade.
Club Take Five
For those wishing to round off the evening in style after dinner, Club Take Five in Kitzbühel's town centre will reopen its doors on 24 July 2026 following a break. The new management team has given the popular club a fresh new character while preserving its unique charm. The iconic velvet-and-chrome interior has been carefully refined, complemented by sophisticated drinks, a contemporary look and the familiar atmosphere.

As a specialist in dirndls, lederhosen and hunting apparel, Gössl has stood for high-quality traditional Austrian fashion for decades, skilfully combining tradition with innovation. Founded in 1947, the family business is now managed by its third generation. The store in Kitzbühel's historic Hinterstadt offers a wide selection of styles for women and men in Gössl's unmistakable signature look. The range is complemented by high-quality accessories such as belts, shoes and hats.
Alpenherz x ZOÈ LU
In collaboration with Gschwantler, Alpenherz is opening an exclusive summer pop-up store in Kitzbühel's historic Hinterstadt. The shopping experience is complemented by a special exhibition of the handbag label ZOÈ LU, featuring transformable bags made from premium Italian leather. In addition to the women's collection, men can also look forward to a wide selection from the complete range – from high-quality traditional Alpine fashion to exclusive lederhosen.
Limone x shedoes
This summer season, the existing concept combining delicatessen and lifestyle has been expanded through a collaboration with shedoes. Since 2012, designer Sabine Deml has combined traditional costume with contemporary fashion under her label, creating unique collections while continually reinterpreting tradition in a modern way. High-quality fabrics, exceptional combinations of materials and carefully crafted details such as appliqués and fine embroidery give every piece its distinctive character.
Juvenal Kitzbühel
At Kitz Galleria, professional skincare treatments with BABOR are offered in a calm and stylish atmosphere. Individually tailored, scientifically based treatments combine BABOR's expertise with a holistic approach to skin health, well-being and longevity. In addition to the treatments, individually recommended BABOR skincare products are available for purchase on site.

Guided Hikes
During the summer season, Kitzbühel Tourism offers up to three guided hikes every Monday to Friday. The meeting point is at 9:00 a.m. at the Hiking Information Point in Kitzbühel's Legends Park. Participation is free of charge with the KitzCard guest card. For a safe and enjoyable mountain experience, ankle-high sturdy hiking boots, functional clothing, rain and sun protection, sufficient water, and two trekking poles are recommended.
TIP | KitzCard
The range of benefits offered by the KitzCard guest card will be expanded in summer 2026 with a special highlight: throughout September and October, one complimentary ascent and descent per person per day on the Kitzbühel cable cars is included. This benefit is valid from the very first minute of the holiday during regular operating hours; special and evening services are excluded. Bike transport is available for an additional charge of EUR 5.00 per trip. During these months, guests also benefit from a 50% discount on day admission to the Aquarena swimming centre; additional services are excluded.
These new benefits complement the KitzCard's extensive existing range of offers, including discounts on green fees, reduced admission to Aurach Wildlife Park, attractive offers from sports rental providers, and free participation in Kitzbühel Tourism's guided hikes.
Nera Pilates Studio
With the opening of Nera Pilates Studio, another Reformer Pilates studio—alongside the already established Reformer Room—is expanding the range of fitness and movement offerings in the Gamsstadt. Here, classical Pilates meets modern training methods and a holistic approach to movement. The diverse range of classes caters to all ability levels, from beginners and participants wishing to further develop their technique and practice to advanced practitioners looking to enhance strength, stability and body awareness.
Bike Trail Kirchberg
With the new Flow Trail in Kirchberg, the existing trail network in the Kitzbühel region is being further expanded. The approximately ten-kilometre-long trail connects the mountain station of the Fleckalmbahn with the Gaisberg trail network, making it the longest flow trail in Tyrol. The route features an easy, family-friendly layout and offers rollers, berms, natural sections and scenic stretches. With an average gradient of 9.6%, the trail is suitable for both beginners and advanced riders. The opening is planned for the start of the Fleckalmbahn's summer operating season.
