Austria’s golf superstar Sepp Straka will tee off from the tenth at 7.50 am on Thursday alongside defending German champion Nicolai von Dellingshausen and South Africa’s Casey Jarvis at the $2.75 million Austrian Alpine Open presented by Kitzbühel – Tirol. It will be Straka’s first tournament in Austria since 2018, making anticipation among Austrian golf fans all the greater as attention turns to Tyrol.
Immediately after Straka, Maximilian Steinlechner will begin his home tournament from the tenth tee at 8.00 am. The Tirolean local favourite will play alongside South Africa’s Thriston Lawrence and France’s Martin Couvra. Bernd Wiesberger will tee off in the afternoon. The China Open champion begins his opening round from the first tee at 1.05 pm alongside Germany’s Freddy Schott and Sweden’s Mikael Lindberg.

Red Bull Final3 Makes Its Debut – Guaranteed Excitement to the Very End
The Red Bull Final3 adds an extra challenge to the DP World Tour event in Kitzbühel precisely where the tension in golf is already at its highest: the final three holes. Once the cut has been made and the players head into the weekend rounds on Saturday and Sunday, a separate competition within the tournament gets underway. On holes 16, 17 and 18, every shot suddenly counts twice – not only towards the main leaderboard, but also towards the Red Bull Final3.
Scores from these three holes will be combined across both days. The player who takes the fewest strokes over the six Final3 holes in total will be crowned the Red Bull Final3 winner. In the event of a tie after the 18th hole on Sunday, the winner will be determined retrospectively by a nearest-to-the-pin contest based on the players’ first shots on the 18th.
