Green Events Tirol

Sustainability

Green Events Tirol is a programme run by Climate Alliance Tirol and Tirol Environment Association. It helps event organisers to run events in a sustainable and responsible manner. A catalogue of measures developed specifically for Tirol provides clear guidance. It combines environmental responsibility, social awareness and regional value creation – resulting in events that make a difference and leave a lasting impression.

With the Green Events Tirol award, Kitzbühel Tourism is also sending a clear message. We take responsibility for nature, society and the region. In this way, we strengthen a sustainable event culture in Kitzbühel and organise events with foresight.

Local focus and responsibility

We place particular emphasis on regionality and responsibility. This approach is reflected both in our choice of ingredients and in our collaboration with local businesses in Kitzbühel. KITZ Kulinarik consistently adheres to the 3R principle – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Short supply chains through local production, the avoidance of single-use bottles and the deliberate reduction of plastic materials are integral parts of our event concept.
