“In the Footsteps of the Aufschnaiters” with Cornelia Erber
2:00 p.m. | Meeting point at the Town Fountain

Under the guidance of experts such as musicologist Cornelia Erber, a guided tour through the city center will highlight the places where the Aufschnaiter family lived in the 17th century. Benedikt Anton Aufschnaiter was born in Kitzbühel and rose to become the court and cathedral chapel master in Passau. He is regarded as a grand master of South German-Austrian Baroque music.

An interesting excursion to the highly specialized flora of the moorlands at Schwarzsee awaits you. Together with conservation area manager Alexander Huber, we will take a look at typical moor plants, their unique adaptations, and the ecological significance of this valuable and sensitive habitat.
