Description

The district of Kitzbühel has the highest concentration of moors in Tyrol. At the same time, there are currently several initiatives aimed at restoring moors to their natural state and protecting them in the long term. The significance of these unique habitats and what moor restoration actually entails will be explained during a visually rich talk. At 6 pm, there will be an opportunity to take a guided tour of thespecial exhibition “Beavers, Birch Trees, Bathers. The Schwarzsee Habitat”.The talk begins at 7 pm.

Hermann Sonntag, biologist and nature educator
Admission: EUR 9.00 (children and young people under 18, as well as members of the museum association, are admitted free of charge)
