UNSERE KISTE* - the somewhat different farm shop
A container made of steel, glass and wood, which looks like a giant fruit crate from the outside, has recently been attracting attention at the Im Gries car park in Kitzbühel. What's inside? ‘Unsere Kiste’ is a self-service shop filled with treasures from the local area.
A ‘Mitanond union’ from cows to sheep and from bees to fish. The ever-increasing demand for the Maurach farm shop's products was both confirmation and an incentive to try something new. We took the next step with the innovative self-service concept ‘Our Box’. Delicacies from the region The crate, which is delivered daily, offers a wide range of local, regional and seasonal foods from producers in Kitzbühel and the region. The selection ranges from dairy products, meat and fish specialities, eggs, pasta and honey to fresh bread. The range also includes tea, herbs and jams. It goes without saying that the products are sold in environmentally friendly packaging wherever possible. However, this somewhat different farm shop doesn't just offer food: If you spontaneously need a nice souvenir, you will find a small but fine selection of tasteful, handmade products, such as flower wreaths, bags, beeswax candles, etc.
