By taking part in the competition, participants accept the following terms and conditions.

2. Purpose of the competition

As part of the ‘THE CATCH KITZBÜHEL’ campaign, a person dressed as a skier will be moving through various districts of Munich.

The aim of the campaign is to find the skier using clues posted on the Kitzbühel Tourism Instagram account, to approach her and to fulfil the entry requirements described below.

A total of 100 ski passes for Kitzbühel will be awarded.

In addition, one overnight stay for two people in Kitzbühel will be raffled off amongst all successful winners of the ski passes.

Participation is voluntary and free of charge. No purchase of goods or services is required.

3. Entry period and venue

The competition will take place on Thursday, 12 November 2026, from approximately 10:00 to 17:00 in the city of Munich.

The specific locations where the skier will be during the promotion period will be announced or hinted at via the official Instagram account @kitzbuehel_tirol.

There is no entitlement to a specific number of stops, duration of stay or a specific location.

The competition will end as soon as all 100 ski passes have been validly awarded, but no later than 17:00 on 12 November 2026.

Should not all prizes have been awarded by the end of the promotional period, there is no entitlement to a subsequent award.

4. Eligibility

Eligible to enter are individuals who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.

A personal Instagram account is required to take part.

The following are excluded from taking part:

  • Employees of Kitzbühel Tourismus who are directly involved in the organisation or running of the competition
  • Other service providers directly involved in the running of the competition and their staff
  • Persons who breach the terms and conditions or attempt to manipulate the competition

Each person may only enter the competition once and may win a maximum of one ski pass.

Participation using false identities or multiple Instagram accounts to circumvent this restriction is not permitted.

Should there be reasonable doubt regarding eligibility to take part, the organiser may request appropriate proof.

5. How to enter

To enter the competition and win one of the 100 ski passes, the following steps must be completed:

Step 1 – Find the skier

The participant must personally find the official THE-CATCH skier at one of the event locations in Munich during the promotion period.

Clues as to her whereabouts will be posted on Instagram via @kitzbuehel_tirol.

Step 2 – Approach the skier

The participant must approach the skier using the catchphrase “Catch Kitzbühel!”.

An encounter outside the active campaign times does not entitle the participant to a prize.

Step 3 – Take a photo or video

The participant must take a photo or video of the encounter with the skier. Both the participant and the skier must look into the camera together (e.g. as a selfie).

The personal rights of other people must be respected.

Simply spotting the skier, calling out to her, or taking a photo or video from a considerable distance does not entitle the participant to a prize.

Step 4 – Post on Instagram

The photo or video must be posted on your own account as an Instagram Story or Instagram post during the promotion period.

The official Instagram account @kitzbuehel_tirol must be clearly visible and correctly tagged.

In addition, the photo or video must be sent via direct message to the official account @kitzbuehel_tirol or by email to info@kitzbuehel.com.

Step 5 – Provide proof of entry

For public Instagram profiles, proof is provided by the published post or Story.

For private Instagram profiles, proof can be provided on the spot by showing the post on your own smartphone.

It is not necessary to switch to a public profile permanently.

Step 6 – Receive your prize

Once all entry requirements have been successfully verified, the social media team will confirm the prize via direct message and explain the next steps.

Participation is only considered successful once confirmed by the event team.

6. Allocation of the 100 ski tickets

The 100 ski tickets will be awarded on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

The order in which direct messages are sent to @kitzbuehel_tirol on Instagram will be decisive.

A maximum of one ski ticket will be awarded per person.

The organiser will keep a record of the allocation in a running list of participants.

Once all 100 ski tickets have been allocated or the promotion period has ended, no further entries will be accepted.
