The world’s most famous ski run reveals a very different side in summer. The “Streif Live” hiking route stretches 7.7 km and climbs nearly 1,000 metres in altitude, taking you from the finish area in Kitzbühel all the way up to the legendary start hut – or the other way around.

Along iconic sections like the Hausbergkante, Mausefalle and Steilhang, you’ll get a real feel for the drama of the World Cup course. The route is moderately challenging, well-marked, and dotted with info points. If you'd prefer to hike just one way, you can take the Hahnenkamm cable car for the return journey.

This three-course tour through Kitzbühel’s southern mountains is a real treat for food lovers. It begins with a scenic chairlift ride up to the Bichlalm, followed by a 12-kilometre hike from one alpine hut to the next – each serving a different course.

Start with a starter at the Bichlalm, enjoy your main course at the Aurach Wildlife Park, and finish with dessert at the charming Gasthof Hallerstube.

Even on the way up through the shady mountain forest, you can feel it – there’s more flowing here than just water. The hike to the Sintersbach Waterfall begins at the Schradlern car park near the Pass Thurn road and climbs around 5 km uphill, accompanied by the soothing sound of the Sintersbach stream.

At the top, water plunges 85 metres in a dramatic free fall – powerful, crystal-clear, and truly awe-inspiring. The circular route continues to the rustic Jochberger Wildalm, where hungry hikers are rewarded with homemade Tyrolean specialities.
