The following rules are currently valid:
The (COVID-19 Entry Regulation 2023) regulates entry from states and territories with high or very high epidemiological risk into Austria. The states and territories concerned are listed in Appendix 1 (very high risk) or Appendix 2 (high risk) of the regulation.
Currently, the People's Republic of China is listed as a state with high epidemiological risk on Appendix 2. A negative PCR test is therefore required for entry from the People's Republic of China. The test must have been taken no more than 48 hours ago.
There are no restrictions on entry from other states and territories.
