Austrian Alpine Open
Europe’s most prestigious professional golf series is coming to Kitzbühel in 2026. The Austrian Alpine Open will take place from 25 to 31 May 2026 at Golf Club Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith.
Following a highly successful debut in 2025 — attracting more than 18,000 visitors and featuring worldwide live television coverage — the region is now preparing to host an event of the highest calibre once again. Targeted investment will be made in the course, driving range and broader infrastructure to ensure an outstanding tournament experience for players, partners and spectators alike.
As part of the DP World Tour (formerly the European Tour), the Austrian Alpine Open ranks among the most significant international golf tournaments and reaches a global audience of millions. Live broadcasts are transmitted daily to over 160 countries, supported by the Tour’s extensive on-site operation.
Kitzbühel, widely recognised as a leading golf destination in the Alpine region, will also benefit economically from the tournament. During tournament week alone, approximately 36,000 overnight stays are expected.
