Mediterranean delicacies in the heart of the Gamsstadt

Culinary delights have been the order of the day at the Greif for centuries - the house was built in 1274 and has been known as the "Goldener Greif" since 1590. Built in 1274, the building in the centre of Kitzbühel is one of the most beautiful houses in the Hinterstadt and has now been in the family for 125 years. As early as 1590, the house is listed under the name "Goldener Greif".

Fresh taglionini with mushrooms

Tender tagliolini dance around juicy mushrooms in a harmonious dance, united in a fragrant work of art of freshness and flavour. A feast for the palate from nature.

True to the motto "Eat, drink, and be happy", the restaurant also impresses with Mediterranean delicacies such as pizza, a large selection of pasta variations or steak. Be curious and enjoy the varied cuisine in the heart of Kitzbühel!

How it works:

Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente. Clean the chanterelles and cut into small pieces according to size. Peel the shallots and garlic and chop very finely. Heat the oil, sauté the shallots and garlic in it, then add the mushrooms. As soon as the water in the mushrooms has evaporated, add the cream, some parsley, salt and pepper and grated Parmesan. Add the pasta and season to taste. Add a little of the pasta water if needed. Serve with freshly shaved black truffle.
