The Knoedel "wonder wheel"

The Knoedel, the godmothers and godfathers of new alpine chamber music, still believe in miracles and dream of wondrous music, which is why their new studio album is called ‘Wunderrad’ (Wheel of Wonder). Their music is wondrous, strange, enigmatic, and they play beautifully. After 31 years of existence, the ensemble and their friendship with each other are wonderful. It is absolutely fascinating how traditional instruments such as the zither, hammered dulcimer and bassoon can sound like this. After the ‘Aufschnaiter’ project in 2022, the ensemble will return to Kitzbühel.
