The New Guest Card
The new guest card – the Kitz Card – makes your stay in Kitzbühel even more appealing.
The most legendary sports town in the Alps stands for alpine diversity, short distances and experiences that can be tailored with complete flexibility. With the new Kitz Card, overnight guests will enjoy even greater comfort and additional inclusive services, allowing them to discover the region more intensively, particularly during the summer and autumn months.
One of the key highlights of the new guest card in Kitzbühel is the daily free ascent and descent on the Kitzbühel cable cars – the Hornbahn, Hahnenkammbahn and Bichlalmbahn – available in May, June, September and October. From the very first day of your stay, this opens up new ways to explore the mountain world around Kitzbühel with ease, whether on panoramic hikes, leisurely high-altitude trails or simply enjoying breathtaking views.
Use of the cable cars is valid during regular operating hours and allows for a particularly straightforward holiday experience: up into the mountains in the morning, back down to the valley in the afternoon – all at no extra cost. Excluded are bike transport, special and evening rides, as well as any other special offers; the benefit applies exclusively to standard ascents and descents during normal opening times.
The guest card is provided to visitors by their accommodation and accompanies them throughout their entire stay.
With the new guest card, Kitzbühel becomes even more accessible – day by day, mountain by mountain.
Kitzbühel and the holiday villages of Reith, Aurach und Jochberg, are in the east of Austria's Tirol region. Getting to Kitzbühel is easy, thanks to 3 train stations, easy connections to the airports not far away (Innsbruck, Munich, Salzburg, Vienna) and an impressive public transport system. Kitzbühel is blessed with travel connections that few other mountain destinations have.
