Culinary Legends on the Hahnenkamm

Michelin-starred and award-winning chefs will gather at the world-famous Hahnenkamm in the Tirolean ski resort of Kitzbühel. At the invitation of Kitzbühel Tourism and the Laurent-Perrier champagne house, culinary legends and gastronomic greats from Germany, Austria, South Tyrol and Switzerland will be guests in the Gamsstadt for skiing, culinary competitions and an exchange of ideas. The programme includes a traditional hut evening in the ski resort, an obligatory ski race on the Hahnenkamm, culinary competitions and a gourmet evening with many illustrious guests. 

Exclusive guest list
The guest list includes culinary legends Hans Haas, Rudi and Karl Obauer, TV chef Johann Lafer, three-star chefs Norbert Niederkofler (South Tyrol), Peter Knogl (Switzerland) and Edip Sigl (Germany), as well as chef of the century Eckart Witzigmann. Annemarie Foidl, president of the Austrian Sommelier Union, will be on hand to provide the perfect wine accompaniment. 

A success story that began in Kitzbühel in 1998
After 28 years, the last Star Cup for chefs took place in Ischgl in 2025. The event was launched in 1998 by Thomas Schreiner (Champagne Laurent-Perrier) and Michelin-starred chef Hans Haas (then still at Tantris, Munich).
