02.06.2022 / After last year's terrific success, the Kitzbühel Summer Concerts will be continued in the existing style. The audience can expect a brilliant spectacle in a class of its own on June 26th, 2022 and on four dates in August.
A real highlight in the Kitzbühel event calendar
For all culture-interested and music-enthusiasts it is called again ears sharpened and listened: the culture format of the Kitzbühel summer concerts goes also this year again to the start. It will start with the pre-concert "Saudade" on Sunday, June 26th, 2022 at 7.00 pm in the hall of the Landesmusikschule Kitzbühel. Here, 200 years of Brazilian independence will be celebrated with a mix of the two worlds of Austrian musical culture with Haydn, Mozart, Schubert and Co. paired with Brazilian flair by the Academia Leopoldina.
On four days in August - in each case on Wednesdays in the concert hall of the national music school Kitzbühel - then the various meeting offer leaves no more desires open. Prelude on Wednesday, 03rd August at 8.00 p.m. forms the "Serenade" of J. Brahms - played by a Nonett of the members of the Mozarteumorchesters Salzburg together with the Double bass player Johannes Gassteiger. In the following week on Wednesday, August 10th, 2022 at 4.00 p.m. as well as at 6.30 p.m. the family concert "Kasperl und das Gespenst" (Kasperl and the Ghost) with the puppet show by Gregor Oehmann supported by musicians awaits, offering an entertaining performance not only for the little ones. On Wednesday, August 17th, 2022 at 8.00 p.m., the Trio Parémi will provide a sonorous journey to France with "Auf einen Kaffe in Paris" (For a Coffee in Paris). The event series will be rounded off on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022 at 8.00 p.m. with the "Premiere" from an exciting combination of saxophone, string quartet and piano.
