The Kitzbühel Museum proudly presents the special exhibition "From Wagner to Ski Manufacturer" - a captivating journey through the transformation of local craftsmanship.

Until April 13, the Kitzbühel Museum takes its visitors on a unique journey, presenting the special exhibition "From Wagner to Ski Manufacturer: The Transformation of Kitzbühel Craftsmanship in the Pioneer Era of Tourism."

This unique showcase highlights the remarkable transformation of craftsmanship in Kitzbühel around the turn of the 20th century - a time when the town evolved into one of Europe's leading winter sports centers. The exhibition illustrates how traditional crafts such as wainwright, shoemaker, and tailor adapted their skills and pursued innovative paths in the emerging tourism industry.

Visitors can admire hundreds of exhibits in seven exhibition rooms, sourced from the collections of the Kitzbühel Museum and various lenders. These pieces not only depict tradition but also showcase the innovative strength of local craftsmanship. They form a fascinating overall picture of those crucial decades when Kitzbühel rose to become a cosmopolitan winter sports destination.

Opening hours until March 31, 2024: Tuesday to Sunday from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm, Saturdays from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.

Opening hours from April 1, 2024: Tuesday to Friday from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm, Saturdays from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.
