Gloriously honest - under this guiding principle, we at Metzgerei Huber have been producing hearty Tyrolean bacon, fine ham and spicy raw sausage in the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps for more than 200 years.
A family tradition started here in Bichlstrasse in Kitzbühel more than 200 years ago. In 1812, the great-great-great grandparents of our today's senior boss opened their own butcher shop. To this day, the Huber butcher shop is a genuine family business with four branches, modern production and successful catering. Our "Stammhaus" in the Kitzbüheler Bichlstraße with the specialist and delicatessen shop is still a piece of our hearts.
Wonderful Tyrolean bacon, excellent ham and fantastic sausage specialties from our own butcher shop can be found here, as well as Austrian quality meat, dry aged beef straight from the dry ager or regional cheese delicacies. Seasonal lamb is also found, game from the surrounding forests or veal and beef from more than 45 regional farmers. In the small snack bar you can try the regional delicacies on site and watch the happenings on Bichlstraße.
In 2015 our specialty store was awarded the Lukullus for Austria's best butcher, in 2019 the Falstaff led us as one of Austria's best butchers.
