Schwarzsee Städtisches Freibad

One of the last natural moors in Central Europe. Kitzbühel owes its reputation as a spa town to the idyllically situated Schwarzsee, app. 2,5 km (1,5 mls) north-west of the town. The Schwarzsee, with a surface area of 8 ha and a depth of 8 m (26 ft), is one of the warmest and most beautiful bathing lakes in the Alps. The rich mud content gives the waters special healing properties. The Schwarzsee is a local holiday area offering varied sports activities such as fishing, boating with an exercise circuit, lakeside path Buffet, kiddie pool, slide, diving tower, umbrella and lounge chair rentals
