Culinary or hiking? Preferably all at once!

On to the Culinary High Altitude Hike

The 3-course tour along the South Mountains - From 09.07. to 03.10.20201 every Wednesday to Sunday.

Hiking and culinary: the perfect symbiosis! On the Culinary High Altitude Hike - The 3-Course Tour you not only hike the most beautiful places in the region, but also combine them with a culinary journey.

Delightful for the 3-course tour from the Bichlalm over the Wildpark to the Hallerwirt in Aurach. The impressive mountain panorama of the south mountains gives it free of charge in addition. Already we wish: "Bon appetite and a fabulously beautiful view."

Ein Tisch in der Stube mit verschiedenen Speisen

Who are the hosts of the 3-course menu* and what will be served? - The 1st course is served at the Bichlalm with the Gasteiger family. There is a Kaspressknödel soup according to the recipe of grandma Gasteiger. Our drink tip for this: "Granggl" water spritzed. TIP: "Granggln" are cranberries and very healthy!

Meat or cheese? - In the Branderhofstuben at the Wildpark Aurach with the Pletzer family, the 2nd course is on the table. Seasonal delicacies of game or as an alternative spinach dumplings with butter, parmesan and leaf salad. Our drink tip: Be sure to try the homemade fruit cocktail. TIP: A look at the game park is definitely worth it!

Finally, something sweet! - At Gasthof Hallerwirt, the Stelzhammer family serves homemade apple wheels with vanilla ice cream from the Millinger farm. A good cup of coffee goes with it. TIP: Ask the innkeeper about his Jochberg bumblebees.
