The pre-Christmas season
For many, this is the favorite time of year, for which, of course, decorations must not be missing. However, this does not have to be expensive, because even in nature you can find many elements that are suitable for a beautiful Christmas decoration. A short walk through the forest is enough and you can make homemade decorations with cones, fir branches, moss or even tree roots.
Moss, pine branches and pine cones
Early in the morning we set off with a backpack and a pair of secateurs to the Kitzbüheler Horn. Accompanied by a beautiful atmosphere, we head into the forest. Here, among other things, a tree is waiting in the middle of the path because it fell down from the wind. Fir branches with pine cones are ideal for the flower pot in front of the front door. To make the whole thing a little more beautiful, you can also add moss balls.
Stopover
After almost 1.5 hours of hiking through the forest in the direction of Wilden Haag and packed with natural crafting utensils, the Laning Alm is suitable for a short break. Warming up and eating or drinking one or the other snack is now on the plan.
Quiet on the mountain
The view over the city so early in the morning is incomparable. After a relaxing break, the trail starts down into the valley. Via the ski slope it goes towards Hagstein, from where the Kitzbühel city center is not too far. At the end of the hike, a warm tea and homemade cookies await as a reward.
