Trout with parsley potatoes and butter
Tender seared trout meets fragrant parsley potatoes, coated in golden butter - a delicious combination of fresh aromas and gentle flavours that pampers palates.

How it works:
Peel the garlic for this fish recipe. Clean the freshly caught trout under running water, wash well and dry. Salt and pepper the trout well inside and out and stuff with parsley and garlic cut into leaves. Heat the butter in a sufficiently large frying pan. Slowly fry the trout in it on both sides over medium heat until crispy (about 6-8 minutes on each side, depending on size). When the trout are cooked, remove and arrange on warmed plates.
For the parsley potatoes, peel the potatoes, cut into quarters and boil in salted water. Heat the butter in a pan and fry the chopped parsley briefly. Add the potatoes and toss well so that the parsley is distributed over all the potatoes.
Serve the parsley potatoes and melted butter with the fish.
On sunny days, the quiet terrace invites you to linger and enjoy the Kitzbühel mountain landscape, and should the weather really not cooperate, you will feel at home in the cosy parlours. Wood panelling, rustic furnishings and warm hospitality convey Tyrolean culture. In addition to the restaurant, the Alte Wacht also has two hunting bow courses, which guarantee adventure in the midst of Kitzbühel's nature.
