Gourmet Tip | Schwarzer Adler Jochberg

Tyrolean specialities in a traditional ambience

Here, guests find themselves on historical ground, as the first mention of the Schwarzer Adler in Jochberg dates back to 1482. Once upon a time, freedom fighter Andreas Hofer and Emperor Franz Josef and his Sisi stayed here. Since 2019, Gerti and Andi have been breathing new life into the time-honoured building with new ideas and modern creations.

Truffle Cordon Bleu with potato and rowan salad

Tender cordon bleu with exquisite truffle aroma in crispy breading. Accompanied by a potato and rowan salad, this dish combines refined taste and fresh components to create a palate-pleasing treat in a class of its own.

In addition to delicacies from Tyrolean and Austrian cuisine, the Schwarzer Adler also serves classic fondue (with veal, beef and poultry) as well as the heartier version with cheese.

In addition to the unique ambience, you get a diverse selection of 120 hand-picked wines to find the ideal companion for every preference and meal. In addition, Andi and Gerti show their culinary talents not only in the inn, but also with homemade delicacies such as jams, schnapps and liqueurs. These unique souvenirs reflect the changing season.
