#LocalHeroes | Anneliese - Therapist in harmony with nature

Energy surrounds us - it is in everything. Recognising this energy is my passion.

The WunderSame World

About two years ago, Anneliese founded the WunderSame Welt website - a project that she says is close to her heart. The aim of the platform is to inspire and teach people how to use energy in a conscious and mindful way. It is about understanding how we deal with energy, what it does to us and how it affects us, and Anneliese's many years of experience as a therapist have led her down this path. She explains that through their work with people, therapists often come very close energetically to their clients. This energetic proximity is intense and requires a high degree of awareness. Anneliese is convinced that this often brings many therapists to their limits. There is an almost invisible, permeable layer that leads us to immerse ourselves in the energy of the other. This has long-term effects," she says.

Anneliese and her garden

Anneliese Bachler-Hechenberger's garden is a real gem, originally planted by her mother. It is full of flowers and herbs, lovingly tended by the family. Butterflies and bees can still be found here in autumn - it hums and buzzes. Anneliese tells us how, after a serious illness, she began collecting herbs and flowers for her tea blends. From March to late autumn she patiently picks and dries herbs, leaves, flowers and roots for her individual tea blends. It is important to pick the herbs at the right time - on the lightest days. On these days, the picked flowers retain their natural colour and intensity even after drying.
The herbal blends are mixed in a large wooden bowl to suit the needs of each individual customer. The herbal harmony blend that Anneliese makes every year contains raspberry leaves, blackberry leaves, strawberry leaves, mullein, Indian nettle, marigold, crownflower, sage and a little peppermint, as well as one or two other herbs that she adds according to her feelings.

The power of incense

The burning of incense is a central ritual, especially during the Twelve Days of Christmas. They begin on 24 December at around 20:00 | 21:00 and end with the transition to 6 January, also in the evening. So there are exactly 12 nights. Each of these nights symbolically represents a month of the coming year, and it is often said that the experiences and moods of these nights can have an influence on the coming year. The Raunächte are considered a mystical time of year, when the boundary between the material and spiritual worlds is said to be particularly thin. It is a time of silence, reflection and inner contemplation. Traditionally, people spend these nights reflecting, burning incense and setting the course for the coming year.
Burning incense is also about the composition of the mixture. For example, natural resins such as frankincense, myrrh, styrax and the like are used for incense. Always tailored to your needs and mood.

The Kitzbühel Formula

Alpine lifestyle and idyllic nature, rustic traditions and a modern way of life: Few cities combine these contrasts as skillfully as Kitzbühel. The sports capital of the Alps gained worldwide fame through the legendary Hahnenkamm races, but that is just one facet of the Kitzbühel legend. It is, above all, the incomparable charm of the region, with the towns of Kitzbühel, Reith, Aurach, and Jochberg, the excellent infrastructure with top-quality hotels and gastronomy, the multitude of sports opportunities, and the captivating landscape that make Kitzbühel so unique.
